Prints & tees

The Tennis Court and Pool borders as repeat prints. Tees first, because they're the fastest way to see the print on a person.

Learning

Dresses

Tia is studying design and learning to pattern, toile and sew. The first dresses will be made by her hands, in small numbers.

Later

Silk squares

The borders were tiles and rugs before they were paintings. A silk square is the most honest place for them to end up.

How it's being made

Painted first. Then cut.

  1. 1A border is painted on canvas, the way they all are.
  2. 2It's scanned and rebuilt as a repeat, colour by colour.
  3. 3Test prints on fabric, then a toile, then the first piece.
  4. 4Small run. Numbered. Signed the way the paintings are.
